The last week of my first year.

I suppose that this is a little something by way of introduction - I'm Hayley and I've now entered the very last week of my very first year at university.

It's a rather daunting thought, actually; this time last year, I hadn't even sat my A levels, yet here I am, one year closer to being shoved out into the big, wide world! Thankfully, as I'm studying a four-year Modern Language degree (German and Spanish, with a little French thrown in for good measure), there are still three years before I'll have to become a Proper Grown-Up.

In fact, there are three-and-a-half months before I can even call myself a second year (yes, there are in fact even longer holidays than those of our post-GCSE days). So, I suppose, this blog will be documenting the antics of Summer 2013.

I can't promise that I'll be hugely wild, weird and wonderful, but there are definitely some exciting plans on the horizon.
